Description
We are a small family run business who has taken on the task of restoring once a great working farm. We moved in late February 2009 and opened our farm shop in July 2009. Our missions is to get Stonebridge Farm back on its feet, and for it to become part of this fine community of Saffron Walden. All we ask of you, is to support us and help us bring you the freshest and tastiest fruit, vegetables and more.
At Stonebridge Farm we are passionate about fresh and locally produced food. We strive to grow and sell the farm-fresh produce, while offering a friendly service that makes buying your fruit and vegetables a much more enjoyable outing, rather than a chore.
We offer a wide variety of fruit and vegetables that is of high quality and strong in flavour. The majoriy of our fresh produce is seasonal and pulled out of the ground on the same day it is sold in the shop! We also offer a wide and ever-growing range of preserves such as our very popular lemon curd, strawberry jam and honey. As we are still a working arable and livestock farm, we also product good quality hay and straw, logs and kindling which we sell through our farm shop; we offer hedge cutting and hay/straw making services. Our prices are competitive which makes us reasonable if you consider the time, care and attention put in to produce such a tasty outcome.
We are planning to renovate and improve the entire farm, returning it to a commercial farm unit producing everything from fruit and vegetables, to meats.

A friend of mine told me about this farm shop, so i thought i would go and have a look. I was greeted by very polite staff and there was a wide variety of produce. I was really impressed with what they have done to the farm and will defiantly be going back for more.
